Debbie, open a command prompt on any windows computer. Then in the black screen type 'ipconfig', 3 in the picture.
Then look a 1, that is the IP address of the computer you are on.
look a 2, that is the ip address of your router.
Now set your WS2902 to something that the DHCP server will not hand out. if your router is 192.168.1.254, set your 2902 to 192.168.1.202
The first three octet numbers must match that of the router. The forth can be anything as long as it is not the same as another device on the network.
Also make sure you type in the correct 'Subnet Mask'. Most of the time it is 255.255.255.0
This should get your 2902 on the local network.
