Thanks for your response. Yes, I have already used the micro SD card to upgrade the firmware and as you said that information was described well at the link you mentioned. What I have not found is any discussion or description of how to use the archived data that can be "Backed Up" onto the SD card from the On-Board memory. I have seen discussions that other weather stations can transfer their archived data to such applications as Cumulus for example and then use Cumulus to create all kinds of historic graphs or tables etc. I have not found a weather application that says it will accept WS-1000 data. Obviously, I have just bought the unit so I have not had time to do an Exhaustive search. I assumed someone on this forum would have used such software so I would Save myself that research. As a practical matter, maybe having the data Logged to WU will be sufficient for my purposes but I'm not sure Everything gets transferred to WU or How Long that data is available to the "Owner/Source". At some point the On-Board memory is going to be Full and then what to folks do? Which leads to the question, what does the OB memory do when it gets full, Croak or just wrap around, overwrite and throw away the Oldest data sample?
I have not yet registered with WU as I need to get my feet on the ground & have some confidence in how the station is operating. Eventually, I plan to connect but I'm not there yet. Thanks again.
