Hi all,
I purchased the Ambient Weather 1001-WS Wifi and had a question. How "sealed" is that battery house on the physical sensor unit? To put in the rechargeable batteries, I had to use a very tiny screwdriver to pry it open.
Seems silly to have to do that because now it has a very slight (like less than a millimeter) "hole" on the side of the battery house. it seems to me it should "pop" out without having to shimmy it open.
Anyone else share that similar issue of the little hole? Do I need to caulk this extremely small hole or is the battery case reasonably shielded from the elements?
Thanks!
Danny
